Governance — Founder to DAO

Built for resilience: clear founder stewardship early, expanding community power over time.

Banncoin’s founder is known publicly as wyah. Legal identity is used only where required (e.g., regulated payments, banking, and compliance filings). Public materials, code, and community channels should refer to “wyah”.

Epoch 1 — Founder (Years 0–3)

  • Founder stewardship; lightweight treasury via multisig (details below).
  • Transparent by default; incident response playbook & audits.
  • Published upgrade process and review cadence.

Epoch 2 — DAO Pilots (Years 3–6)

  • Community grant votes; limited parameter votes (privacy toggle pilots, fees).
  • Public reporting for pilots (privacy, microtx, integrations).
  • PQC research testnet; advisory council formalized.

Epoch 3 — Community Stewardship (Years 6–10)

  • DAO-majority for core parameters and treasury programs.
  • Emergency brakes & audit requirements remain.
  • Optional harmonic overlays; possible PQC migration if standards mature.

Treasury & Multisig (Epoch 1)

Founder-led, with transparent addresses and signers. Will transition to broader community custody during Epoch 2 pilots.

  • Treasury address: bnc1qxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
  • Multisig config: 2-of-3 signers (Founder, Dev, Foundation)
  • Signer keys (pub): pub1... (Founder), pub1... (Dev), pub1... (Foundation)
  • Transparency: monthly balance + disbursement report

Upgrades & Reviews

  • Proposal format: Motivation → Spec → Risk → Rollout → Rollback
  • Review cadence: quarterly (or ad hoc if security-critical)
  • Sign-off (Epoch 1): Founder multisig approval, public notice window
  • Emergency: incident response playbook (freeze/patch/fork), post-mortem within 14 days
