I was tired of two extremes: coins that shout without substance, and coins with substance locked inside closed circles. Banncoin is my answer—open, patient, verifiable. Something a curious person can understand, and a builder can respect. It’s a tool, not a spectacle.
The problem I couldn’t ignore
Crypto drifted into shortcuts: premines, confusing tokenomics, opaque distribution, and a culture that rewards hype over shipping. Newcomers feel like outsiders. Builders waste hours decoding basics that should be obvious.
The line in the sand
- Truth over hype. If we can’t explain it, we don’t ship it.
- Access over advantage. CPU‑friendly proof‑of‑work. No premine. No dev tax.
- Ownership over promises. Your keys, your choice, your risk.
The clean start
On August 1, 2025, we set the genesis block—no backdoors, no pre‑allocated supply. The chain booted from zero with this SHA‑256 hash:
d1850a029add28bd156e3a98121b070327c8b8bf87ca67bc327850697be42635
The genesis message honors a compass that never fails us: “Think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” — Nikola Tesla. That’s the spirit here: keep it grounded, keep it auditable, keep it human.
What makes Banncoin different
- CPU‑friendly PoW. Mining should be something you can do, not a museum piece for industrial hardware.
- Fixed, transparent issuance. 3,333,333,333 BNC total; 458 BNC Scalar Yield; halving ~ every 3 years (~3.64M blocks).
- Receipts, not slogans. Public explorer, plain‑text JSON, clear docs, and a timeline you can check against the chain.
The early grind
I wrote, tested, and rewrote until the pieces clicked: block headers that make sense, a miner you can run without a lab, and an explorer that shows the work. Day by day, block by block—no theatrics. Just progress you can verify.
Where we’re going
- Open explorer data you can script against.
- Miner packages for Windows and Linux with plain‑English guides.
- Wallet & transactions so anyone can send/receive and prove balances.
- Docs for builders: block schema, endpoints, examples in Python/JS.
If we do this right, Banncoin will earn its place not with promises, but with a clean ledger and code people actually use.

I’m not here to impress you with buzzwords. I’m here to keep the rules honest and the roadmap practical. I prefer work over theater—clean headers, simple miners, legible data, and a chain you can check for yourself. If you value clarity over spectacle, you’ll find a home here. Let’s make history, block by block.
